DESIGN BENEFITS

As the sash is hinged and supported on both sides, this allows larger than normal openings to be considered. In view of the superior technology, it is our view that a Fully Reversible window is always preferable to a Top Hung.

Powder coated aluminium clad version available in any or the RAL colours. Such cladding makes the window virtually maintenance free, certainly comparable to uPVC.

Fully comply with BS7950 'Secure By Design' accreditation.

Can be turned 180 degrees to facilitate cleaning of the outside pane. As all sash movement is external to the frame, this results in no damage to curtains, blinds or objects on the sill.

Can be painted or stained externally with one colour, with an alternative colour used internally. A natural wood finish is often used internally so as to blend with the natural wood sill or floor

A safety restrictor is built into the hinges as standard, which initially restricts movement to the first 100mm of opening (for windows taller than 600mm).

Ideal choice for multi-storey building where cleaning and painting present Health and Safety issues.

Cars travelling at an average of 90hm/h within a city environment 33.6dbRW +ctr

For schemes where noise attenuation is of major importance, a '2+1' window is available which can achieve levels of up to 45dB. For information on this window, please click here to go to Low Noise.
