SIDE HUNG (EIF & TUF)

(Click above image to enlarge)

DESIGN BENEFITS

Available as either inward (EIF) or outward (TUF) opening.

Inward opening window has aluminium beading on all four sides of the sash.

Powder coated aluminium clad version available in any or the RAL colours. Such cladding makes the window virtually maintenance free, certainly comparable to uPVC.

Has achieved BS7950 'Secure By Design' accreditation.

Can be painted or stained externally with one colour, with an alternative colour used internally. A natural wood finish is often used internally so as to blend with the natural wood sill or floor. See Fully Reversible for duotone windows.

All windows, of all types, are supplied with an aluminium bottom bead and sill to minimise maintenance on areas where moisture may lay. This bead is supplied in either a mill finish, or powder coated to match the frame

All the component parts of the window are painted or stained before they are assembled, to provide maximum resistance to the elements

NOISE ATTENUATION

These figures are for a standard window specification.

Cars travelling at an average of 50hm/h within a city environment 29.9dbRW +ctr
Cars travelling at an average of 90hm/h within a city environment 33.6dbRW +ctr

For schemes where noise attenuation is of major importance, a '2+1' window is available which can achieve levels of up to 45dB. For information on this window, please click here to go to Low Noise.

U VALUES

The values are measured in values of w/m2K, and are for the entire frame, and not purely for the glass.
